Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience
5+ years of experience in investigative environments involving research, writing, and analysis
Skills
Take initiative and handle various tasks simultaneously while working efficiently, effectively, and independently under minimal supervision
Adapt to respond to urgent issues, situational needs, and workload requirements
Understand the criminal justice system, court proceedings, and private security regulations
Utilize effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to engage with all levels of people, both inside and outside the company
Be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications
Maintain accuracy and attention to detail
Comprehend incident reporting and case management processes
Know evidence handling and case building for prosecution
Apply knowledge of interview techniques
Work within the laws / statutes and employment laws impacting methods used in successful investigations
Pursue professional development opportunities, including internal and external training and professional association membership, and share information gained with co-workers
Speak comfortably to large groups to provide security-related training
Preferred Qualifications
Skills
Knowledge of Federal, state or local regulations relevant to the company, i.e., PCI, CPNI, SOX, HIPAA, and data privacy affecting theft of cable service
Bilingual
Education
PCI, CFE, CPP, or similar certification
