Director, Accounts Engagement Strategy
As the Director of Accounts Engagement Strategy, you will be in a leadership role within the U.S. Market Access Accounts Team. You will be responsible for collaboration and alignment across Market Access Accounts segments, Strategic Pricing, and Contracting, and other cross-functional partners (Sales, Marketing, etc.). The Director will drive organizational effectiveness and support optimization of the Market Access Accounts Team's performance in partnership with Strategic Pricing and Contracting (SPC), Market Access Marketing team and the Sales teams. In addition, the individual will lead and play a key role representing the department regarding activities such as annual budgeting process, short and long-range planning, KPI monitoring, and managing external expenditures and performance, refining Department processes and procedures as appropriate, optimizing partnerships and communication within Department and cross-functional departments / stakeholders.
Responsibilities :
- Analyze market trends, gather customer insights, and adapt strategies to evolving customer needs and industry dynamics for payer and trade customers
- Track key customer experience metrics, analyze performance trends, and use insights to drive continuous improvement and refine strategies.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Strategic Pricing and Contracting and other internal teams to ensure strategies are aligned and market access resources are leveraged effectively
- Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with Market Access Accounts teams to align on strategic priorities and long-term goals for customer engagement
- Partner with Executive Director of Market Access Accounts to develop and support implementation of proactive strategies to increase revenue from existing clients, identify new commercial opportunities, and ensure long-term partnership success.
- Oversee the development and implementation of new tools, technologies, and strategies to support field account teams
Experience :
Bachelor's degree is required with a preferred master's degree in business.12+ years pharmaceutical or biotech experience, including 3+ years of front-line leadership experience.Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior executives to support key initiatives.Working knowledge of payer, SP, SD and IDN landscapes to support the market access team business needsStrong capability to analyze data, interpret business issues, and develop data-driven insights and recommendationsExpertise in managing multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver compelling presentations and facilitate collaboration.Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and coordinate complex business needs and requests.This is a hybrid position located at our King Of Prussia offices. You must be in the office three days a week and one day must be a Monday or a Friday.
