Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, initiative-taker to join our FP&A team as a Senior Financial Analyst, with a focus on all aspects of financial budgeting, tracking and decision support for JonnyPops. This individual will be a key business partner to the Operations team, driving excellence in financial reporting and forecasting. In addition, they will provide decision support, utilizing financial data to drive fact-based decision making. This position will dive deep into JonnyPops plant operations to understand all aspects of production and provide strong financial support to leadership to include Plant Manager and other key leaders. This position will be reporting to the FP&A Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes for JonnyPops Operations (supply chain, plant manufacturing, overhead and direct labor spend), working alongside the FP&A manager to ensure alignment to strategic objectives and partnering with non-finance business partners on inputs
- Maintain financial models, which drive the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, and load final plans into financial planning system (SmartView)
- Understands standard cost accounting in manufacturing, including working knowledge of the bill of materials and the related raw material components, labor and overhead cost pool.
- Analyzes production variances in collaboration with the Operations Team to identify gross margin enhancement opportunities.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and analyze results based on trends and as compared to the budget / forecast. Explain and investigate any major discrepancies, and understand key business drivers
- Prepare weekly Operations dashboard for leadership with KPIs that allow for timely business insights to enable data driven business decisions
- Provide business partners financial information and analysis for special projects as needed to drive accurate decisions, improved margins and enhanced operational performance
- Super-user of ERP system and other related financial systems / tool; proactively bring forth new solutions for most effective usage of tools
- Work with team members to drive continuous improvement and automation across all finance / accounting processes and models for improved efficiency and accuracy
- Effectively influence colleagues by supporting them, challenging them, providing unique perspective and delivering value

Desire for a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field3+ years’ experience in finance, with strong preference for experience in manufacturingERP system experience - Oracle NetSuite ERP and Oracle SmartView experience strongly preferredFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience requiredDemonstrated experience using planning and forecasting tools requiredProficient in Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel skills.Strong organizational, problem solving, communication and people skills.Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Solves difficult problems with efficient solutions by looking beyond the obvious and doesn’t stop at the first answers.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (plant operations), speaking the language of the business partner when communicating financial topicsThrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment by being adaptable and resilient to change.Hybrid role : 1-2 days in Elk River at manufacturing plant, 1-2 days at Plymouth Corporate OfficeExpected Pay Range : $95,000-$115,000
