Location : Pittsburgh, PA

Salary : $120,000 - $130,000 base

The Opportunity

As Vice President & General Manager , you'll be responsible for overall business leadership , operational performance , and customer satisfaction . You'll oversee design, estimating, and production teams while ensuring seamless delivery from sales through project completion.

This role is hands-on and strategic, ideal for a leader who thrives in a dynamic, close-knit environment where collaboration and accountability drive success.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of operations , including sales, estimating, design, and production.

Own P&L performance , driving revenue growth, profitability, and continuous process improvement.

Oversee project lifecycle management - from bid and proposal through fabrication, delivery, and closeout.

Ensure accuracy and quality in estimating, engineering, and manufacturing operations.

Foster strong customer relationships , ensuring exceptional service and communication throughout each project.

Coach, mentor, and develop team members , promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Collaborate with senior leadership to align business goals with company-wide strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture .

5+ years of supervisory experience , with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Proven success in P&L management , business growth , and profitability improvement .

Strong knowledge of architectural metal systems , fabrication processes, and installation methods.

Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and bid documents .

Experience with software tools such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and related estimating or ERP systems .

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and "wear many hats" in a fast-paced environment.
