We are seeking an Environmental Technician (EIR Technician 1) to join our Lenexa, KS team! Come join us!

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide field and office support for due diligence and environmental projects.
• Role will be 95% field work, requiring travel across Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa.
• Willingness to work outside in various weather conditions
• Candidate will be asked to work weekends and extended hours, when required and on short notice

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or bachelor's degree (preferred) in environmental science, environmental studies, occupational health and safety, construction, or related field and 0-2 years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license must meet qualifications to successfully complete Drug-Alcohol Testing.
• 40-hr HAZWOPER certification preferred
• Able to travel locally and regionally, including overnight travel 35%-50% of the time.

Technical Requirements:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office® applications
• Must be able to enter, record, store, or maintain information in written or electronic form
• Communicate with contractors and staff effectively and professionally

Other Miscellaneous Qualities:

• Strong problem-solving, workload management, and organizational skills with limited supervision.
• Professional, self-motivated, team player with strong collaboration skills.
• Ability to climb stairs/ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.
