Job descriptionProvide timely and compassionate service to patients Support nurses with specimen-related workflows and patient follow-ups Communicate clear expectations around results timelines and next steps Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to HIPAA at all times Utilize EMR systems (ArtWorks, external lab portals) for orders, documentation, and results tracking Ensure all lab equipment receives timely preventive maintenance Participate in continuing education (quarterly CE requirements) and complete required trainings (e.g., Zika, Ovulation Induction modules) Adhere to OSHA and FCI policies for clinical and lab safety Assist with training and onboarding of new phlebotomy team members Provide coverage at other clinic locations as needed, including weekends High school diploma required Phlebotomy certification or diploma required CPR certification required Proficient in venipuncture and clinical specimen processing Prior experience in a fast-paced medical office or fertility clinic strongly preferred Familiarity with EMR systems and lab portals (ArtWorks, Quest, LabCorp, ACL, etc.) Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask Able to work independently and collaboratively within a clinical team Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to start (unless an approved medical or religious exemption is provided) Full-Time Employees (30+ hours / week) : Medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with company match; tuition assistance; performance-based bonus opportunities; generous paid time off and paid holidays Part-Time Employees : 401(k) with company match; performance-based bonus opportunities Per Diem Employees : 401(k) with company match

Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood, urine, and tissue specimens using proper techniques and Universal Precautions
- Confirm lab orders in ArtWorks, verify patient identity, and ensure accurate specimen collection and labeling
- Follow insurance guidelines and complete necessary consent forms prior to specimen collection
- Process specimens for in-house or external testing (e.g., Quest, LabCorp, ACL, genetic panels)
- Maintain cleanliness and proper stocking of phlebotomy and clinical areas
- Ensure biohazard and sharps disposal procedures are followed
