Our client is a global manufacturer and is looking to hire a new Senior Financial Analyst to support one of the major product lines in the business. This Senior Financial Analyst will be tasked with managing the annual budgeting, forecasting, working alongside the senior sales executive, and will also interact with top customers to maintain and exceed margin targets and key performance indicators.

Overview of the Senior Financial Analyst opportunity :

Analysis of trends, costs, revenues, variances to budget and prior year's activity

Using large data sets be able to come up with meaningful analytics that drive the numbers of the business going forward

Preparation of templates for internal annual budgeting

Coordinate the revenue budget process and scheduling budget review meetings

The Senior Financial Analyst will work with heads of departments on annual budget preparation and review

Prepare monthly reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts

Prepare monthly commentary on sales margin vs budget and prior years

work with variance analysis

The Financial Analyst will troubleshoot cost controls and forecast future spending

The Financial Analyst will assist with month end support

Background Preferred for Senior Financial Analyst :

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

3-10 years of progressive finance experience

Advanced modeling skills including advanced Excel skills

Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
