Business Analyst Role duties :
- Interview the business SMEs to investigate questions from the project team
- Facilitate requirements gathering (REFINEMENTS)
- Capturing & documenting User Stories & Acceptance Criteria in our system of record)
- Elaborate acceptance criteria, test cases (verification, SIT, UAT)
- May serve as tester (validation, SIT, creation and creation / facilitation of UAT case scenarios)
- Mentor team on analysis techniques and best practices as observed, guidance to PO / SM / PM
- Identifying and suggesting solutions, documenting mockups, presenting to team and business
- Creating detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, solutions
- May create required design documentation as needed
- Represent the stakeholders (keep things honest)
- Grooms backlog with the team / developers
- Quickly become a SME to our project
- Validate that the implementations in our Sprints match the project plan / requirements
- Keep all documentation stored and shared with the team in our designated online / cloud locations at all times
