Be Part of the Story as the North America Retail Sales Manager! This Retail Sales Manager will lead efforts to drive growth and sales across a diverse portfolio at Walmart US. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and key licensees to execute strategic initiatives. Building strong relationships across Walmart, as well as with Disney's cross-functional teams, including Brand Commercialization, Licensing, Product Development, Creative, Retail Marketing, and Analytics, is essential to success.
This role will report to the Senior Manager of Retail Sales.
This is a Full-Time position.
What You Will Do :
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with Walmart merchants and cross-functional teams to drive Disney's retail growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams and licensees to develop category strategies and plans that elevate product placement and brand storytelling.
- Develop and execute departmental strategies by leveraging financial insights, consumer behavior data, and product trends to support divisional goals.
- Analyze weekly account performance to identify risks, uncover growth opportunities, and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with Disney's marketing team to optimize product visibility and conversion on Walmart's digital channels.
- Support the development and presentation of annual Joint Business Plans to align on shared objectives and growth targets.
Required Qualifications and Skills :
3+ years of experience in buying, merchandising, or assortment planning within a mid-to-large company (Walmart experience preferred)Proven understanding of retail sales, marketing strategies, and brand / property positioningDemonstrated success in building and maintaining multi-functional relationships with retailersStrong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to interpret business insightsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environmentEffective collaborator across diverse teams and functionsSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and drive resultsExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalProficient in Keynote, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other productivity toolsComfortable representing the Retail Sales team in front of key stakeholders and partnersPassion for the Disney brand and storytellingTeam-oriented mindset with a proactive and solution-driven approachRequired Education :
