HR Administrative Assistant - Brookfield, WI Headquarters
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and great at keeping things on track behind the scenes? Wolter is looking for a HR Administrative Assistant to join our Human Resources team and provide vital administrative support to our Human Resources staff. We are looking for someone to handle the day-to-day functions in the areas of payroll, benefits, front desk reception, and assist the HR team as needed.
What You’ll Do
- Responsible for the accurate data entry of wage information into payroll software.
- Process employee wage, title, department, address and other changes within HRIS system
- Enter monthly Commissions into the commission database, issue reports, and maintain commission records
- Enter mileage reimbursements and expense reimbursements on an ongoing basis
- Support the processing of child support, garnishments, and tax levies.
- Serve as primary backup for processing weekly and semi-monthly payroll submissions
- Track and enter reimbursements for employee participation in the United Healthcare Rewards program
- Respond to industry survey requests.
- Administrate Anniversary Award Program
- Handle company credit card requests (new cards, changes, terminations)
- Issue Probationary Review and Annual Review packets. Follow up with supervisors to ensure they are done in a timely manner
- Issue quarterly gas mileage reimbursement notice
- Complete wage verifications and wage surveys.
- Will prepare mailings, stuff envelopes and prepare outgoing mail.
- Maintain / order inventory of various forms and supplies for department
- Serve as primary support for the Reception desk in the afternoons, including but not limited to switchboard / phone coverage.
- Act as the first point of contact for onsite customers and individuals in the afternoon.
- Process received mail by ensuring it is sent to the correct internal person or department
- Prepare inter-company mail for delivery to other branches
- Assist Accounts Payable in processing invoices in Docuware
- Performs other related duties as assigned
