Essential Functions :
Entry-Level Position
Schedules shits for caregivers, provides information to callers, answers phone calls, and performs various administrative functions.
- Answers telephone and provides information to callers or routes calls to appropriate associate, places outgoing calls. Greets visitors, determines nature of business, and refers visitors to appropriate individual.
- Routes incoming mail. Uses courier, U.S. mail, overnight mail, e-mail or facsimile machines to send documents as directed.
- Files correspondence and other records. Makes copies of correspondence or other printed material.
- Orders office supplies and forms for associates and communities.
- Assist in some HR Manager in some tasks
- Assists in obtaining and / or completing new hire documentation for new associates.
- May maintain associate personnel and community files.
- Assists in the recruitment, orientation and retention of qualified staff.
- Assist in scheduling caregiver and client needs
- Assist in some collection of timesheets and payroll matters
- May be involved in assisting in biometrics
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements :
Has some knowledge and experience, but not required in healthcare fieldHigh school diploma, Associate and / or College degreeKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written for multiple business purposes.Excellent negotiating skills.Excellent multi-tasking ability and effective organizational skills in order to meet short deadlines with finite resources.Excellent computer proficiency including the ability to utilize software programs for creating documents and data analyses.Pass federal and state required criminal and abuse background checks where required.Working Conditions & Physical Effort :
Work is normally performed in a typical interior / office work environment.Ability to work flexible schedule (part-time or full-time)Physical activity is light requiring occasional lifting / carrying up to 20 lbs. or pushing / pulling small objects. Frequently walking or standing or sitting most of the time.
