Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout their stay.

Assist in preoperative assessments, including verifying patient information, obtaining consent, and preparing patients for surgery.

Monitor patients postoperatively, assessing their recovery, managing pain, and addressing any immediate concerns or complications.

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.

Educate patients and their families on postoperative care instructions, including wound care, medication management, and follow-up appointments.

Required Qualifications

Current RN license

BLS (other certifications as required by facility)

2 years of recent Outpatient Surgery experience.

2 years of recent Outpatient Surgery experience.
