Join our team and help us keep communities connected. Your Opportunity Stantec is seeking a full-time, talented, team-focused CAD Designer to join our transportation group.

The position is primarily focused on transportation infrastructure projects and has a variety of designer, drafting and modeling opportunities.

Your Key Responsibilities + Produce civil drawings and 3 dimensional models in Bentley InRoads / OpenRoads and Autodesk AutoCAD Civil3D + Organizing and maintaining a digital file database for each project using Bentley ProjectWise software + Uses knowledge of tools and drafting to complete assigned tasks including 2D and 3D model development, completing design changes, general arrangement drawing production, redlining, plotting, and drafting using CAD platforms + Facilitating and ensuring the quality of the drawings and graphic work produced for the team + Communicating with other team members during the 3D model and plan production + Understanding ProjectWise file structures and modifications to files for exchanges with other team members + Creation of roadway alignments, profiles, templates and corridors + CAD surface and digital terrain modeling + Ensure CAD standards and styles, quality assurance and quality control procedures are followed during drawing planning and production + Work to meet project schedules Qualifications Your Capabilities and Credentials + Experience with civil infrastructure projects - roadway, utility, and rail projects highly desirable + Proficiency in Bentley InRoads / Open Roads + Strong attention to detail and presentation + Excellent interpersonal skills, with a 'team player' approach to design and problem solving + Ability to work within a team, sharing workloads to meet deadlines + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products Education and Experience + Associates or Technical Degree + 5 years of CAD experience This position has flexible working arrangements for the right candidate that may include the option of remote, hybrid or in office options.

Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s) : Salary Range(s) : $62,800 - $91,100 (CA, CO, WA locations only) The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.

At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
