Public Relations Assistant

About the Role :
A Public Relations Assistant at Brand Avenue plays a vital role in supporting the public relations team in managing and enhancing the company's public image and reputation.
This position involves assisting with various tasks related to media relations, communication strategies, and event coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities :
- Assist in developing and implementing public relations strategies and campaigns to promote the company's brand and products.
- Monitor media coverage and social media platforms for mentions of the company and industry trends.
- Draft press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials.
- Coordinate interviews, press conferences, and media events.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
- Assist in managing company social media accounts and engaging with followers.
- Track and analyze metrics to measure the effectiveness of public relations efforts.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and social media platforms.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Previous experience in public relations or related fields is a plus but not required.
