Vice President Finance

We are recruiting for one of our fast growth portfolio companies' in Tempe, AZ.
Launched in 1999, Finaventures is a venture capital & growth equity firm with a focus on California and Southwest. Our business model combines investment capital with active involvement at the management and board levels to align all stakeholders.
With previous funds in growth technology, rescue, and early stage ventures, we have a proven track record of successful investments and high-value exits.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a passionate, motivated Vice President Finance at one of Finaventures' portfolio companies in Tempe, AZ.
The Vice President Finance will be responsible for financial planning, financial statements, finance, analytical skills, and financial reporting to the senior leadership team and the Board.
They will work closely with the executive team to provide strategic financial guidance, oversee financial operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, hyper attention to detail and the ability to drive financial performance in a fast growth venture-backed company.
Qualifications
- Strong financial planning, financial statements, and financial reporting skills
- Experience in accounting and analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
- Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively
- Leadership and management experience
- Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- CPA or CFA certification is a plus
- Auditing experience is a plus
- Expert user of NetSuite is a must
