Project / Program Manager II
The Project / Program Manager II is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects or programs, overseeing all aspects to ensure success. This role involves setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring progress, and preparing reports for upper management regarding project status.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and complete project / program tasks, overseeing all aspects of the process.
- Set deadlines and assign responsibilities to team members.
- Monitor project / program progress and summarize outcomes.
- Prepare detailed reports for upper management regarding project / program status.
- Lead and direct the work of others, utilizing creativity and judgment.
- Facilitate sponsor matches and re-matches within the sponsorship program.
- Craft and deliver stakeholder communications effectively.
- Oversee the annual survey process from distribution to analysis.
- Track program metrics and create reports to demonstrate program impact and opportunities.
Essential Skills
Bachelors degree in a relevant field or related area.4-7 years of experience in project management or a related field.Extensive experience and judgment in planning and accomplishing goals.Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel and Qualtrics.Strong project management experience.Excellent communication skills.Experience in stakeholder management and data-driven decision-making.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Background in internal communications or sponsorship / mentorship programs is a plus.Experience working with senior leadership.Strong organizational skills and cross-functional project management.Work Environment
The position requires local presence. The role may report to a manager or head of a unit / department, and involves leading a team with a degree of creativity and latitude.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Arlington, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
