Executive Assistant
The Executive Assistant is responsible for supporting the SVP, Distribution & Partnerships and their team at VERSANT, a newly formed, independent media company. We are looking for an experienced and proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and who values building strong relationships across the organization. This role is critical to enabling the success of our executive and broader team, and the ideal candidate will embody the company's core values of transparency, trust, and teamwork.
Responsibilities :
- Calendar & Schedule Management : Own and creatively manage a highly dynamic and complex calendar involving executives at all levels, coordinating meetings across time zones and accommodating frequent changes. Demonstrate a results-driven approach to securing time with internal and external stakeholders.
- Relationship Management & Collaboration : Build strong, trusted relationships with other assistants, team members, and stakeholders. Be a culture carrier who contributes to a positive, team-oriented environment and proactively seeks ways to foster collaboration.
- Communications & Liaison : Act as a key point of contact for both internal and external communications, prioritizing and streamlining information flow while representing the executive's voice and style.
- Confidentiality & Trust : Handle highly sensitive information with the utmost discretion. Build a deep level of trust with the executive team and others.
- Process Improvement : Continuously assess current workflows and processes. Recommend and implement improvements that enhance team efficiency and operational excellence.
- Office & Event Support : Assist with office administration, team events, and coordination of logistics and materials for meetings, both virtual and in-person.
- Responsiveness & Flexibility : Be highly responsive, with a can-do attitude and readiness to step in whenever and wherever needed, especially during high-priority moments.
- Project Management & Special Assignments : Assist with special projects and provide backup support for other assistants when required.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications :Bachelor's degree and five years of experience working in a corporate environment supporting senior executives, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the organizationOrganized and detail-oriented, with excellent judgment and decision-makingHigh level of integrity and the ability to always maintain confidentialityCreative and resourceful problem-solver with a high degree of accountabilityDemonstrated ability to maintain composure under pressureAbility to successfully juggle competing priorities and meet deadlinesExceptional written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and follow-upDesired Characteristics :General understanding of and passion for the media industryProven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, deadline-driven work environmentStrong cultural alignment with the values of transparency, trust, and teamworkAdditional Information :
Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Subject to change based on Manager discussion or business need.This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other benefits and perks.Salary range : $50,000 - $65,000
