Job description

Indirect Tax Graduate Intern, Spring 2026

The Indirect Tax Intern must be able to follow a tax calendar and complete all tasks to timely and accurately complete indirect tax returns, including Property Tax, Sales / Use Tax, & Gross Receipts Tax, and related payments for all Disney U.S., U.S. Territory or Canadian entities.

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2026 to June 2026.

This role could be a mixture of many different responsibilities! You could have the opportunity to :

  • Support tax audits and research
  • Generate and analyze reports for preparation of property tax, sales / use tax, & gross receipts tax for assigned business area(s)
  • Reconcile indirect tax activity to the general ledger
  • Analyze and communicate relevant tax rule changes / law developments to team members and leadership that could impact the business
  • Collaborate with various teams within Disney, including technology teams, controllership and finance
  • Assist with other special projects as needed

Required qualifications and skills include :

  • Takes initiative and has a process improvement mindset (Tech Savvy)
  • Strong willingness and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite with advanced Excel experience (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's)
  • Possess strong time management skills Able to multi-task, prioritize and consistently meet deadlines
  • Adaptable to change, easily pivots
  • Strong analytical thinker
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Preferred qualifications include :

  • Previous experience with Alteryx and / or Power BI
  • Education :

  • Currently enrolled in a GRADUATE degree program in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Data Analytics or other related field
  • Eligibility requirements and program information :

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college / university pursuing a GRADUATE degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR a graduate student currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
  • Additional information :

  • Candidate must be fully available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.
  • This internship is an on-site position, but also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace for the days you may work from home.
  • Able to provide your own housing and reliable transportation for the duration of the internship program.
  • We provide limited housing opportunities for Florida Based Professional Interns through American Campus Communities.
  • The pay rate for this role in Florida is $30.40 per hour. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package.
