The impact you will have :

As a Cost Control Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to optimize project budgets, drive cost efficiency, and ensure precision in our cash flow forecasting.

You will collaborate with project teams (both internal and external), cost consultants, and our valued vendors to produce accurate cost reporting which will be used to capitalize our business plan.

What you will do :

Budget Alchemy : Identify discrepancies, reconcile inconsistencies, and adjust allocations with finesse. Maintain our budget line-item correction sheet.

When inaccuracies knock, you’ll answer the door.

  • Cost Tango : Weekly cost touchpoints with consultants? Yes, please! Approve invoices, track change orders, and validate spend. You’re the maestro.
  • GMP Guardian : From project start to Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), you’ll verify, cross-check, and ensure harmony.
  • Consultant Liaison : Manage a team of consultants to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Crystal Ball Vision : Predicting the future cash flow, ensuring the budget stays on track, and orchestrating a symphony of dollars to keep the project humming.

What you will need to be successful :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field and / or three or more years of experience in construction or project management
  • Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and clear, concise communication (verbal and written) skills with all levels of the organization.
  • Detail oriented analytical capabilities coupled with business acumen needed to proactively solve problems facing the organization.
  • Use organizational skills to determine prioritize competing goals and deadlines, as well as timely follow-up and identifying and escalating as appropriate.
