We are seeking a visionary and experienced Head of Design to lead and inspire a dynamic team of product designers. In this role, you will define the design strategy, drive innovative solutions, and ensure seamless, customer-centered experiences across digital products. You will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering leadership to align design initiatives with business goals, foster efficiency, and create impactful outcomes. Accountabilities :
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Product Designers, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Define and execute the overall design strategy to meet customer needs and business objectives.
- Oversee the end-to-end design process, ensuring user-centered problem-solving, ideation, and product development.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize initiatives, establish timelines, and achieve measurable impact.
- Develop and maintain a scalable design system to enhance usability, maintain brand consistency, and support product innovation.
- Advocate for design excellence across all touchpoints while balancing business goals with customer delight.
- Utilize data-driven insights and user research to inform decisions and validate product direction.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, including the application of generative AI in research and design.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in UX / Product Design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Proven experience leading design teams in fast-paced, tech-driven environments.Strong portfolio demonstrating experience solving complex user problems and delivering impactful products.Expertise in user research, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities to support team growth.Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to ensure alignment and execution.Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts to stakeholders at all levels.Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite, with familiarity in Agile methodologies.Ability to think strategically while maintaining a hands-on approach to design problem-solving.Benefits
