Churchill Downs Racetrack ("CDRT"), the world's most legendary racetrack, has been the home of The Kentucky Derby, the longest continually held annual sporting event in the United States, since 1875. Located in Louisville, CDRT features a series of themed race days during Derby Week, including the Kentucky Oaks, and conducts Thoroughbred horse racing during three race meets in the Spring, September and Fall. CDRT is located on 175 acres and has a one-mile dirt track, a 7 / 8-mile turf track, a stabling area, and provides seating for approximately 60,000 guests. The stable area has barns sufficient to accommodate 1,400 horses and a 114-room dormitory for backstretch personnel. CDRT also has a year-round simulcast wagering facility . www.ChurchillDowns.com.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Marketing & Partnerships to lead the integrated marketing strategy and commercial partnerships for Churchill Downs Racetrack and its portfolio of events, including the world-renowned Kentucky Derby. This executive will serve as the brand steward and growth driver, responsible for enhancing fan engagement, expanding sponsorship revenue, and elevating the prestige of our racing and entertainment experiences globally.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Strategy & Brand Leadership

• Lead all brand and consumer marketing efforts for Churchill Downs Racetrack, including the Kentucky Derby, Kentucky Oaks, and ancillary events.
• Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, broadcast, experiential, social, PR) that drive attendance, viewership, and cultural relevance.
• Steward the Kentucky Derby brand and visual identity, ensuring consistency and resonance across all touchpoints.
• Oversee fan engagement strategy, including loyalty programs, data capture, personalization, and CRM initiatives.
