Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing and processing a high volume of invoices, ensuring accurate coding and data entry, and maintaining excellent vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance or accounting and be eager to grow within a financially stable and rapidly expanding company.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices to validate coding, verify purchase orders, and ensure accurate data entry.
• Perform account reconciliation to match supplier statements with the Accounts Payable system.
• Resolve processing issues to facilitate timely and accurate payments.
• Organize and file to manage a high volume of invoices efficiently.
• Communicate with vendors, project managers, and executives regarding pending invoices and purchase orders.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
• Ensure correct information and purchase orders are on file before processing payment requests.
• Manually enter invoices in Viewpoint and verify accuracy using three-way matching.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Hauppauge, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00 / yr.
