Assistant Manager Expectations

The purpose of the job is to assist the manager in operating the store, training employees and executing all policies, procedures and programs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Consistently gives 100%.
• Always meets standards. Never cuts corners.
• Leads by example.
• Smiles and says please and thank you.
• Has an excellent personal appearance. Never out of uniform.
• Always arrives for work on time.
• Treats other co-workers with respect and dignity.
• Trains and develops co-workers.
• Exercises loyalty to Management team.
• Takes responsibility to see that store runs right instead of waiting to be told.
• Is honest.
• Communicates with the Manager daily, doesn't wait for the Manager to ask.
• Evaluates themselves as to where they are and where they need to be.
• Realizes their attitude sets the tone for all the other co-workers.
• Seeks out opportunities to learn and develop management skills.
