The Digital Marketing Manager will ideally, but not be required, to work out of ePac's Austin, TX office, and can also work from a home-based office, as required and approved by ePac management. Remote applications may be considered based on qualifications.
This role has a salary range of up to $80k depending on skills and experience, with a generous leave and benefits package.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Marketing Manager plays a critical role in driving ePac's demand generation, customer engagement, and market expansion initiatives through strategic email marketing, lifecycle journey management, trade show execution, industry-focused marketing, and cross-functional collaboration. This position leads the development and deployment of targeted email campaigns, automated customer journeys, and data-driven segmentation within Salesforce Marketing Cloud to nurture prospects, enhance retention, and optimize the overall customer experience. The role also oversees ePac's trade show and event presence, managing logistics, communication, and post-show lead processes to support pipeline growth. In partnership with Sales and Product teams, the Marketing Manager creates market-specific messaging and sales enablement tools for priority verticals while supporting broader marketing activities, including asset production, storytelling initiatives, and internal communications. Leveraging strong analytical skills, this role tracks campaign performance, trade show ROI, and marketing KPIs to generate actionable insights that inform strategy, improve effectiveness, and drive continuous optimization across all marketing programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Email Marketing
Plan, build, and deploy targeted email campaigns through Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including : promotional campaigns, lifecycle development, and transactional communications.Design and manage customer journeys, automation workflows, and dynamic segmentation to drive personalized engagement.Partner with Sales, Customer Experience, and Creative teams to align email messaging with company goals and campaigns.Oversee email database management, ensuring data quality, list hygiene, and compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other regulations.Create and maintain automated follow-up communications for sales prospects, nurturing leads through the funnel.Develop re-engagement programs to activate lapsed customers and increase retention.Generate and present email performance reports, including metrics such as open rate, click-through rate, conversion rate, and ROI.Continuously test and optimize campaigns using A / B testing and data-driven insights to improve engagement and deliverability.
Customer Experience Journey Management
Build and maintain holistic customer lifecycle journey maps in collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, and Operations.Create and manage lifecycle automations in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other defined platform for onboarding, reorder, and churn prevention.Test message sequencing, content, and timing for different customer segments. Align content planning (emails, blogs, social) around journey stages rather than campaigns.Develop reporting to measure journey effectivenessconversion rates, engagement, time to first order, reorder frequency.
Trade Show & Event Marketing
Working with the sales team, plan and execute ePac's trade show presence, including booth design, logistics, shipping, and vendor management.Manage all pre-show, onsite, and post-show marketing communication.Develop show-specific promotional assets (fliers, handouts, signage, QR codes for lead capture).Support regional / local events, customer meetings, open houses, and plant tours.
Market & Industry-Focused Marketing
Collaborate closely with Sales leadership to understand and prioritize key vertical markets (e.g., Pet Food, Supplements, Coffee, Nutraceuticals, etc.).Develop market-specific messaging, positioning, and value propositions tailored to each industry segment.Create targeted sales enablement materials for priority marketsincluding pitch decks, sample kit inserts, vertical-specific brochures, and case studies.Conduct market research on trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to support positioning strategies.Support Account Executives and BDRs with vertical-focused campaigns, materials, and outreach assets.Build and maintain a centralized library of industry-specific marketing content.Collaborate with the Product team to highlight innovations and capabilities most relevant to each market.Participate in cross-functional planning to align marketing activities with priority market growth goals.
General Marketing Activities
Manage production of marketing assets via internal teams and external vendors.Partner with Sales to create tools that support the buyer journey : pitch decks, vertical-market materials, competitor comparisons, etc.Assist with internal communications, announcements, and cross-functional enablement.Coordinate storytelling initiatives, including customer testimonials, success stories, award submissions, and PR support.
Analytics & Reporting
Track performance of campaigns, trade shows, and marketing assets using Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and internal dashboards.Prepare monthly / quarterly reports on marketing KPIs, lead flow, conversions, and contribution to revenue.Use insights to recommend improvements and inform future strategy.Collaborate with internal teams to enhance data integration and reporting accuracy across marketing systems.Analyze campaign performance data to identify key trends, optimization opportunities, and areas for budget reallocation.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Strong command of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder).Understanding of email best practices, deliverability, segmentation, personalization, and compliance standards.Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret complex marketing data to generate actionable insights.Proficiency in building dashboards, reports, and visualizations (Salesforce, Google Analytics, Power BI, or similar tools).Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.Strong written communication and attention to detail in crafting compelling email content and calls-to-action.Collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, creative, and technology teams.Familiarity with CRM data structures, API integrations, and lead management workflows is a plus.Strong PC skills along with hands-on knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms.Proficiency in Salesforce; experience with Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus.Familiarity with WordPress, graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), and marketing automation platforms.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing workload and schedules.Excellent communicator, easily adaptable, exceptionally organized, have strong presentation
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required.5+ years of experience in digital or email marketing, with at least 3 years managing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar email marketing platform.Proven track record of developing and optimizing data-driven email programs that increase engagement and conversions.Experience in marketing data analysis and KPI reporting for multi-channel campaigns preferred.Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification(s) and / or experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems strongly preferred.
