Red River is seeking a Senior Wireless Engineer to join our growing team! The Sr. Wireless Engineer is responsible for Red River customer projects including wireless network design, deployment and troubleshooting services.

The Sr. Wireless Engineer will be required to work remotely and onsite to achieve customer project goals. Ability to provide guidance to other Engineers and Associates supporting projects.

Primary Position Tasks : Advanced design and deployment of network, wireless, and hardware configurationsPerform and review wireless RF coverage surveys using EkahauAbility to Assess customers WLAN from RF and Configuration best practicesPreparing WLAN equipment for deploymentSupport, troubleshoot, and install wireless and related technologies.

Maintain industry certifications as requiredOther business duties as assignedMinimum Education / Certification / Experience Requirements : CWNA Certified Wireless Network AssociateAruba Certifications strongly preferred (required to be obtained within six months of starting the role)Ekahau Certification preferredECSE Ekahau Certified Survey EngineerCertification can be replaced with 3-5yrs experienceExperience with following WLAN OEM’sCiscoMist / JuniperMerakiA solid understanding of the milestones associated with completing a wireless deploymentUnderstanding of network routing and switching protocolsKnowledge of NAC integration with WLAN’sFamiliarity with IEEE 802.

11 protocolsEssential Elements : Walking up to 4-5 miles per day when doing surveysLift up to 20lb boxesSitting for periods of 2 -3 hours at a time.

Work on a ladder up to 15ft above groundThis position requires the ability to continuously communicate with co-workers throughout the day utilizing Red River approved and / or provided communication tools and equipment.
