The Nike Global Materials Planning & Sourcing organization optimizes material supply to flexibly respond to consumer demand. The team seeks innovative collaborators to advance its mission to revolutionize material supply planning and sourcing by investing in people, process, and technology to drive efficiency and flexibility across the end-to-end supply chain.
This role will report into the Materials Planning Director, Footwear and work closely with the Global Materials Planning & Sourcing leadership team.
Key stakeholders :
This role's primary responsibility is the management of mid to-long-range plan health, understanding the driving forces impacting the material forecast and both coordinating and communicating the recommended strategies to support on-time delivery. This role also supports setting and operationalizing material lead time strategies and serving as a Materials SME in key projects. This role will be balanced between tactical support of materials demand-supply management; while also supporting the design and implementation of new strategies for a responsive, flexible materials supply chain that improves materials on-time delivery for pinnacle Footwear product.
This individual will be an important part of the Global Material Planning & Sourcing team working with our Materials Supply Chain (MatSC) partner groups, as well as functions external to MatSC for their relevant Sport alignment and material class. They will also partner with their Lead planner to coordinate and resolve larger challenge issues and drive the development and implementation of capabilities across the functions to meet goals across our key pillars of Responsiveness, Resiliency, and Sustainability.
This role is looking for a proactive, thoughtful self-starter who embraces and leads change through strategic, innovative solutions while driving clarity and accountability to manage a dynamic materials supply chain environment.
