Job description5–10+ years of superintendent experience in commercial or healthcare construction. Strong understanding of MEP systems, infection control, and hospital protocols. Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar tools. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Healthcare & Commercial Superintendent
Location : Los Angeles, CA
Summary :
The Superintendent oversees on-site construction operations for healthcare and commercial projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. This role manages field activities, subcontractors, and coordination with owners, architects, and engineers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead daily on-site operations from mobilization to closeout.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, vendors, and inspections.
- Enforce safety, quality, and compliance (OSHA, ICRA, NFPA, CA codes).
- Manage schedules, materials, and logistics for active healthcare / commercial sites.
- Communicate with project managers, design teams, and clients to resolve field issues.
- Maintain documentation : daily logs, change orders, and punch lists.
- Supervise assistant superintendents and field crews.
