Finance Manager

In this leadership role, you'll oversee all aspects of our college's financial affairs, providing strategic direction and ensuring sound financial practices.

Here's what you'll do :

Financial Leadership Expert : Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes for our college.

Goal Setting Champion : Establish departmental priorities and ensure all financial deadlines are met.

Team Leader and Mentor : Supervise your finance staff, providing training, coaching, and performance management.

Financial Reporting Master : Review and approve financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Strategic Analysis Guru : Conduct special financial studies and provide insights to support informed decision-making.

Reporting Pro : Produce routine and ad-hoc financial reports for senior management and planning teams.

Policy and Procedure Champion : Oversee the development and implementation of sound accounting policies and procedures.

Project Management Expert : Manage special projects and prepare presentations for senior management.

To be successful, you'll need :

Bachelor's Degree : A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field is required.

Experience : Four to five years of experience in a relevant financial management role.

Accounting Expertise : Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly within a university setting.

Leadership Skills : The ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of finance professionals.

Communication Master : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and senior management.

Tech-Savvy : Proficiency in financial and accounting software applications.

Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address financial challenges.
