Shifts Available and Hours : Monday-Friday, 7am to 4pm

While primarily a Monday thru Friday day shift role, flexibility for off-shift and weekends should be understood as necessary for assignment completion on occasion.

Job Summary :

The Preventative Maintenance Leader supervises, coordinates, and documents preventative maintenance of all equipment and facility using the computerized maintenance management system (MVP). Will also oversee each PM day, overseeing all maintenance personnel and production employees during the PM activities.

Required Education / Experience :

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in maintenance
  • Minimum of 3 years in preventative maintenance
  • Preferred Skills / Qualifications :

  • Strong organization and detail management skills, with accountability for projects
  • Work with internal and external engineering resources, equipment suppliers and construction contractors to complete assigned projects safely, on time and on budget.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills on MS Office.
  • Able to present in high level management meetings.
  • Able to communicate in all levels of the organization.
  • Job Responsibilities :

  • Studies production and operation schedules and confers with other staff and the Maintenance Manager to determine when maintenance PM's will least interfere with operation of establishment.
  • Estimates costs of personnel, parts, and supplies to be used during scheduled maintenance.
  • Responsible for collecting equipment data and developing, implementing, and monitoring preventive maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.
  • Directly supervises maintenance staff that perform preventative maintenance and Production staff during PM days in designated areas.
  • Will assist with ordering of necessary material for the completion of work orders and PM activities.
  • Supervises the performance of emergency and routine maintenance as needed.
  • Participates and is fully engaged in continuous reliability improvement of all equipment and processes.
  • May develop and coordinate plans for reconstruction or installation of new equipment, machinery, or buildings.
  • Will assist in coverage with other supervisors within Maintenance.
  • Will do routine audits of PM activities and trainings to personnel.
