Job Responsibilities :
Accurately stage and sort products for loadingSorts and places parts in racks or other designated areasStacks cardboard boxes and palletsMove materials within the warehouseComplies with all safety requirementsPackage or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying informationRead work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needsSorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated roomsFills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to productionworkers or assembly line
Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station orshipping department
Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisorQualifications :
No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.High school diploma or equivalent preferredProficient reading skills and ability to follow directions requiredAbility to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills requiredFlexible to work overtime preferredAbility to work in non-climate-controlled conditions requiredRegular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the jobAbility to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, and time management skills requiredWillingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location requiredComplete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
