HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AS A FUNDAMENTAL LEADER OF OUR TEAM
As the Accounting Manager, you will help lead our finance department with excellence, integrity, and innovation . You will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and help to empower a team of finance professionals.
DUTIES INCLUDE :
- Collaborate with department heads to analyze financial performance, monitor key metrics, and forecast outcomes .
- Oversee accurate financial statement preparation, ensuring compliance with GAAP / IFRS.
- Communicate financial results to senior management and manage relationships with auditors.
- Direct all accounting operations, streamline processes, and develop internal controls.
- Monitor cash flow, conduct financial analysis, and recommend cost optimization strategies.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage financial risks, conduct internal audits, and provide leadership to the finance team.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and promote a positive work environment.
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with regulations and accurate record-keeping.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
EXPECTED SCHEDULE & POSITION TYPE
Full-time M - F 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Overtime required during month end close.
Must have the a bility to work independently including work ing from home ; Travel to other Tentamus sites is required and may be frequent.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED TO EXCEL IN THIS POSITION
To succeed in this role as Accounting Manager at Tentamus North America you will have p roven leadership and team management experience, with a track record of driving results and fostering a collaborative work culture, as well as :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting , Finance, or related field; CPA designation strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity leading a team of accountants .
- Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting principles, and regulatory compliance.
- IFRS knowledge a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate financial information effectively.
