Preconstruction Manager

We are currently searching for an experienced Preconstruction Manager with a strong track record in light industrial and design build environments. This role is ideal for someone who is energized by early project strategy, cross functional collaboration, and leading high performing estimating efforts. You will guide pursuit strategy, coordinate design partners, and help position projects for successful handoff to operations.

What You Will Do :

• Oversee preconstruction and estimating activities from early pursuit through turnover
• Lead estimating teams to deliver accurate, timely work and maintain strong quality control
• Direct design coordination on design build pursuits and provide strategic oversight
• Coach and develop direct reports and foster a culture of growth, accountability, and collaboration
• Perform cost and risk analyses; communicate balanced risk considerations to leadership and clients
• Support process improvement and consistency across preconstruction functions
• Lead client facing presentations and internal handoff reviews
• Facilitate project transition meetings and ensure key action items and lessons learned are captured
• Build and strengthen client relationships in partnership with business development
• Track opportunities in CRM; stay current on industry and market trends; identify and advance pursuits
• Support pursuit strategy through market knowledge, presentation development, and pricing insights
• Lead problem solving and conflict resolution within the team
