Job Summary
Oversees all sales operations within the division, driving growth through effective leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration with marketing to meet company goals and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed performance goals.
- Evaluate staffing needs and implement training programs to strengthen team capabilities.
- Use market data to identify trends, customer needs, and new opportunities.
- Work closely with marketing to design and execute local sales strategies.
- Set goals and territories for the team and monitor progress toward objectives.
- Track competitor activity and adjust sales approach to protect market share.
- Manage department budgets to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Support the customer experience by resolving concerns quickly and professionally.
- Coordinate communication between sales, construction, and operations teams.
- Oversee contract and loan progress to ensure timely closings.
- Provide ongoing leadership, coaching, and accountability to the sales staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.5+ years of sales leadership experience, ideally in homebuilding or real estate.Proven success leading teams and meeting sales and profit goals.Strong communication, organization, and decision‑making skills.Confident, self‑driven, and capable of handling a fast‑paced environment.Knowledge of construction processes and blueprints is a plus.Skilled in developing marketing and sales strategies for local markets.Seniority level
