Amplity has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our team of National US MSLs. Utilize your MSL experience as we grow our team. This is a remote field-based role and an immediate opportunity.

Job Summary

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will serve as a key scientific resource for healthcare professionals, including nephrologists, endocrinologists, and cardiologists, focusing on the importance of vaccines for preventable diseases, health system mapping and other duties as needed. The MSL will engage in clinical discussions, understand healthcare systems and their complexities, traveling within the designated region weekly. This role requires a strong background in the pharmaceutical field, understanding the complexities of healthcare systems and experience in an MSL or MSL like role.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately $195K - $208K. The salary rage displayed may vary based on market data / ranges, an applicant's skills, prior relevant experience, certain degrees, certifications, and other relevant factors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in detailed clinical discussions with Nephrologists, Endocrinologists, and Cardiologists healthcare professionals to provide scientific insights on the importance of vaccines for preventable diseases.
  • Health system mapping
  • Have a deep understanding of healthcare systems, including their complexities and operational dynamics, to effectively communicate and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals within the region.
  • Travel a weekly basis within the region and to attend conferences and meetings.
  • Provide scientific support to internal teams, to ensure accurate and effective communication of scientific information.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Degree from an accredited university or college required.
  • Individuals with Pharm D, Ph.D, MSN, NP, RN with relevant clinical backgrounds and pharmaceutical field experience
  • Pharmaceutical experience required in an MSL / MSL like role.
  • Experience in cardiology, nephrology and or endocrinology desired
  • Recognition of the role of vaccines in the management of treatable diseases.
  • Effective synthesizing, interpreting and distilling large quantities of clinical to key stakeholders and HCPs
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and the ability to ensure compliance in all activities.
  • Capable of managing time efficiently allocating and prioritizing tasks to achieve goals promptly and effectively
  • Adept navigating complex health systems and ecosystems
  • Understanding of vaccines and their importance in various therapeutic areas.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Willingness to travel weekly within region and nationally for meetings
  • Must pass all product and compliance training.
  • Valid driving license with a safe driving record.
  • Deep understanding of scientific principles and the ability to apply them in clinical discussions.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and KOLs.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret scientific data and provide insights.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and healthcare systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and contribute to cross-functional projects.
  • Demonstrates confidence in presenting and discussing scientific information.
  • Ability to engage healthcare professionals effectively and maintain their interest.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and situations outside of comfort zone
  • Comfortable navigating challenging situations and adapting to unexpected changes.
  • Strong commitment to improving patient outcomes through scientific education and support.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest scientific research and developments.
  • Credentialing Requirements

    As a representative of a pharmaceutical company, you may be required to submit and maintain credentials, such as training, vaccinations, and other job-related documentation to gain access to hospitals or healthcare providers. It is the Company's expectation that you comply with the requirements outlined by the facilities on your call plans.

    Additionally, certain geographic jurisdictions or hospital systems have requirements to apply for and obtain a representative license. At this time, representatives working in the District of Columbia, City of Chicago, State of Nevada, State of Oregon, or those associated with Jackson Memorial Health in Miami-Dade County Florida may be required to obtain specific licenses. This list may be subject to change, including the potential for additions or modifications. In the event of any significant changes, you will be notified accordingly.
