What You'll Do : Producing monthly and annual financial statements for multiple companies. Reviewing and analyzing financials and account activity. Preparing financial analyses and reports. Preparing and / or reviewing journal entries and ensure all entries are adequately supported, as per procedures. Preparing company forecasts for management. Performing and / or reviewing account reconciliations. Validating data against system reports. Verifying that controls and processes have been followed. Working with operations and / or vendors / customers to problem-solve. Assisting with year-end reporting, including overseeing the issuance of 1099s. What We're Looking For : Required Education, Experience and / or Abilities Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent education with three to five (3-5) years of experience; an equivalent combination of education, experience and / or abilities may be considered. Ability to read basic professional documents (invoices, various financial statements, emails). Ability to correspond in an informative professional manner. Ability to calculate financial amounts and indicators. Ability to research and interpret rules and regulations to solve complex issues. Preferred Education, Experience and / or Abilities Oil and Gas industry experience preferred Additional Eligibility Qualifications English language fluency, verbal and written. Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug / alcohol test.
