Job Description :

The Medical Scribe is a vital member of the medical staff who assists physicians with paperwork and operates their EHR system.

Responsibilities

• Completes all EMR tasks given by the Site Manager, including but not limited to entering chief complaints / problems, HPI, orders, assessments, and plans.
• Review the charts for accuracy of lab orders, x-ray reports, or outside physician reports.
• Assists the physician with exams as a third party in attendance as needed.
• Performs urinalysis as necessary.
• Answers and returns phone calls.
