Our Open Opportunity

The Finance Manager in Training (MIT) is an essential member of the Finance Division’s leadership team which is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests.

We are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The ability to multitask and prioritize is also essential for this position.

Successful candidates will be a willing team player, comfortable with electronic systems and willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote team work.

Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

  • Work with Offshore team to coordinate Income Audit, Accounts Payable, and Daily Reporting.
  • Ensure that income is properly recorded and an accurate and timely Daily Business Report is generated.
  • Have the ability to direct the efforts, quality and timeliness of all aspects of the payroll, general ledger, accounts payable and general cashiering.
  • Good understanding of Month-End Process, including but not limited to preparation of financial statements, accruals and journal entries, maintain reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts in established corporate formats and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principals.
  • Assist with month end adjustment journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare periodic vacation and medical deduction audits.
  • Prepare required backup or work papers in order to provide analysis and control over balance sheet and P&L accounts and to serve the purpose of internal and external audits.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Staff Accountant or Assistant Director of Finance.

Candidate must be upwardly mobile and willing to relocate.

Have a working knowledge of all areas in Finance to ensure that coverage can be provided for employees on vacation or leave.

Ideal candidate will be a recent Hospitality or Finance Graduate within the last 12 months.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge and ability to operate various electronic systems.
  • Service Passion for Luxury Hospitality
  • Requires attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • A Bachelor’s Degree (four year degree) in a related field is required.

Candidates must have valid work authorization for the U.S.
