Senior Product Engineer New Product Development (NPD)

The Senior Product Engineer New Product Development (NPD) plays a key role in the design, development, and validation of next-generation products. This position is responsible for leading product design efforts from concept through production launch, ensuring robust performance, manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with practical engineering judgment, project leadership, and a passion for innovation. Salary range for this role is $90K-$110K and is eligible to participate in Danfoss's health and welfare plans such as medical, dental, vision and 401(k).

What You'll Be Doing

Product Design & Development

• Lead the design and development of new products, sub-systems, and components from concept through production.
• Apply engineering principles to develop and validate designs that meet performance, cost, and reliability targets.
• Create and manage detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, and bills of material (BoMs).
• Collaborate with simulation, test, manufacturing, and sourcing teams to ensure robust product performance and design-for-manufacture (DFM).
