Billing Coordinator
Process and review large volumes of monthly bills, including complex arrangements (split billing, flat fees, discounts).
Review and edit pre-bills per attorney / client instructions, ensuring compliance with billing guidelines.
Submit electronic invoices, resolve rejections / appeals, and troubleshoot billing / payment issues.
Monitor budgets, write-offs, and carry forwards, escalating issues as needed.
Partner with attorneys, assistants, and collections teams to ensure timely billing and payment.
Support special billing projects as required.

At least two years of legal billing experience.
Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver.
Adaptable under pressure with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experienced with billing systems (Aderant preferred), e-billing, Word, and Excel.
Competitive base salary range of $75,000-$95,000, depending on experience and location.
