Human Resources Business Partner
We are currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to serve as a strategic consultant and primary liaison between Human Resources and assigned hospital departments. In this unionized healthcare environment, the HRBP plays a key role in enhancing the employee experience, advising leadership on labor and employment matters, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the overall effectiveness of HR strategies within the hospital.
Responsibilities
- Advise department leaders on HR strategies, aligning people initiatives with organizational goals to enhance performance, engagement, and culture.
- Lead efforts to improve the employee experience, from onboarding to exit, using engagement data to create targeted action plans.
- Manage employee concerns, conflicts, and policy violations through impartial investigations and resolution guidance.
- Train managers on HR policies, procedures, and labor agreements, addressing knowledge gaps with tailored resources.
- Act as a liaison between department leaders and HR functions to deliver effective services.
- Partner with leaders to build internal talent pipelines, support succession planning, and drive leadership development.
- Coach managers on performance evaluations, development plans, and performance improvement.
- Oversee offboarding, conduct exit interviews, and analyze trends to improve retention.
- Ensure HR practices comply with laws, policies, and union contracts, mitigating risks and promoting ethical standards.
- Lead or support HR projects to enhance operational efficiency, organizational development, and culture.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related area is essential; Masters degree in HR preferred.SHRM Certified professional; Senior Certified Professional a plus.Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience, including 2 years in a strategic HRBP or generalist roleStrong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices and business acumenExcellent interpersonal, communication and conflict-resolutions skillsProven ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of organization.Proficiency with HRIS and MS Office Suite.Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Comfortable working with data and analytics to drive decisionsStrategic thinker who is agile and adaptable to change, with a hands-on approach.Pay Range
USD $90,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 / Yr.
