Position : Billing and Payroll Specialist

Position Summary :

The Billing and Payroll Specialist will manage all billing and payroll functions in compliance with Oregon state regulations and organizational policies. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Oregon's eXPRS billing portal and Paychex (or similar payroll platform) , and is comfortable managing complex workflows, payroll processing, and reconciliations accurately and on schedule. Prior experience in the I / DD services field and familiarity with WellSky (or a similar platform) are highly preferred.

This role is entirely in-office , requiring strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and professional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare, process, and submit all billing through Oregon's eXPRS portal.
• Manage biweekly payroll using Paychex, ensuring accuracy of time entries, deductions, and benefits.
• Monitor service authorizations and funding allocations for correct billing and payroll alignment.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts, resolving discrepancies.
• Generate reports and assist with audits as requested.
• Communicate effectively with staff, supervisors, and state representatives.
• Uphold confidentiality and data security standards.
• Ensure stakeholders receive required weekly reports.

Applicants must have demonstrable experience with Oregon's eXPRS billing portal and payroll management . Selected candidates will demonstrate experience with these systems during the interview process.
