Job Details

Our client is seeking a Permanent Controller who is bilingual and has a strong background in accounting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of all accounting functions.

This position will play a crucial role in the overall financial management of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, and financial planning.

The successful candidate will be required to communicate and collaborate with various departments and stakeholders, hence the need for bilingual skills.

The Permanent Controller will report directly to the CFO and will have vast opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities :

1. Oversee and manage all general ledger activity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.

2. Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.

3. Prepare all financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

4. Conduct regular ledger activities, including reconciliations and analysis.

5. Lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the CFO.

6. Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting.

7. Implement a robust contracts management and financial management / reporting system.

8. Ensure that accounts receivable / collections and payable are processed timely and maintained accurately.

9. Collaborate with external auditors and manage the audit process.

10. Communicate effectively with various departments and stakeholders in multiple languages.

11. Provide strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs.

12. Continually develop and refine accounting processes for efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.

3. Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation is preferred.

4. Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office Suite.

5. Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.

6. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.

7. Strong written and verbal communication skills in at least two languages.

8. Superior management skills with the ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers.

9. Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.

10. Proven strategic planning experience at the management level.

11. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.

12. Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.

13. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
