Job description
A company is looking for a Medical Coder II.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and translate medical diagnoses and procedures into numerical codes
Participate in meetings with healthcare providers to address coding issues and provide training
Assist with department coding needs and mentor entry-level coders
Required Qualifications
At least 1 year of related experience in medical coding
High school education or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience in medical billing
AHIMA or AAPC Certification required
Proven experience working effectively from home
