CNC Quality Technician Level 2

Job Summary : Provide full support to QCMI in all areas of Quality. Requires strong technical and analytical background coupled with good communication skills and an understanding of manufacturing processes. Focus on processing non-conformances using and maintaining quality system policies, procedures and continuous improvement techniques.

Requirements, Qualifications & Skills :

• Proficient understanding of aerospace specifications and standards, i.e., ISO, AS, ASQR, ANSI, ASME, AMS, MIL
• Basic understanding of Lathes and Mills
• Complete understanding of GD&T
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software
• Must be able to work independently, accommodate schedule pressure and multi-task.
• Must be detail oriented, organized and able to communicate well with other personnel
• Flexible (willing to take on other duties as needed)
• May need to occasionally work 8+ hours
• Must be U.S. Person within the meaning of ITAR
• Engineering Degree (preferred)
• Minimum of 2-5 years aerospace quality assurance experience (preferred)
• Comprehends English; proficient in reading and writing.
• Possesses knowledge of AS9100 standards and how it relates to this position.
• Green Belt in Six Sigma
• Root Cause Analysis certification
• Experience with CAD modeling software
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
• Be able to move parts without help.
• Able in a nosey environment.
