IT Portfolio Manager
Job Description :
IT Portfolio Manager needs 10+ years of IT experience with a minimum of five years in a Portfolio / Program management position.
IT Portfolio Manager requires :
- Location Charlotte, NC, Iselin, NJ and Dallas, TX
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Sciences, or related field from an accredited university or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 10+ years of IT experience with a minimum of five years in a Portfolio / Program management position.
- SAFe Certified preferred
- Good working knowledge of both Agile methodologies.
- Experienced in managing a large portfolio of interdependent IT projects.
- Program, project, and change management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of business organization and management.
- Knowledge of the organization and functions of an information technology business operation
IT Portfolio Manager duties :
- Manage and optimize the flow of value through the Solution Trains using various tools, such as the Solution Kanbans.
- Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Solution Backlogs, Solution Kanbans, Solution Trains, Solution Demos, and Program Increments (PIs).
- Facilitate Solution Planning and PI Planning readiness via fostering the preparation of Vision and Backlogs, and via Pre- and Post-PI Planning meetings.
- Facilitate the Solution Planning and PI Planning event.
- Aggregate into Solution PI Objectives, Program PI Objectives, and Team PI Objectives (and publish them for visibility and transparency).
- Aggregate program PI objectives into Solution PI Objectives (the STE) and publish them for visibility and transparency.
- Assist with execution and Capability and Capability-Enablers completion tracking.
