Join us as a Financial Planner and help clients achieve financial freedom while charting your own career path. In this role, you will provide in-depth financial guidance and empower participants to take actionable steps toward their goals. You will engage with clients across Empower's Large to Mega plan segment and tailor strategies that reflect our mission of improving financial wellness for all.
This position will work with employees of a major employer in the Austin, TX metropolitan area, with necessary travel to client sites.
Key Responsibilities :
Deliver comprehensive financial plans that lead to measurable outcomes for participants.
Engage in proactive discussions to uncover client goals and recommend appropriate Empower products and services.
Provide education and advice on managed accounts, rollovers, investment allocations, savings strategies, HSAs, and retirement income planning.
Act as an Investment Adviser Representative for Empower Advisory Group, providing tailored investment recommendations.
Utilize the CONSULT model to build trust and guide clients to make clear financial decisions.
Facilitate client-directed transactions through outreach to current and former providers, ensuring seamless implementation.
Document client interactions efficiently using Salesforce and other internal platforms.
Foster a learning culture by sharing insights and success stories with peers.
Provide ongoing high-touch service to support clients before and after retirement.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (MBA preferred).
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation required.
FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 registrations required.
Minimum 3 years experience in financial services or the 401(k) industry.
At least 2 years of direct financial planning experience.
Strong ability to analyze and communicate a client's financial situation across various areas including investments and estate planning.

Base Salary Range : $85,600.00 - $120,925.00
