Leave Of Absence Coordinator
As the Leave Of Absence Coordinator, you serve as a key resource in supporting team members through some of life's most significant moments. You manage the day-to-day administration of leaves and benefits, ensuring accuracy, compassion, and compliance every step of the way. From guiding team members through family, medical, union, personal, and military leave processes to overseeing ADA accommodations and workers' compensation, you help protect the well-being of both the employee and the organization. Your attention to detail, knowledge of applicable laws, and ability to coordinate with corporate HR are essential in maintaining a compliant and supportive workplace.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
- Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
- Serve as the primary point of contact for team members regarding leave of absence and benefits-related questions, including FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, and short / long-term disability
- Determine leave eligibility, notify employees of their rights, and guide them through required documentation, including Health Care Provider Certifications
- Coordinate with department managers, Payroll, and Corporate HR to ensure timely communication and administration of approved leaves and work restrictions
- Audit, track, and maintain records for all types of leave (e.g., medical, personal, union, military) to ensure compliance with federal / state laws, company policies, and collective bargaining agreements
- Input and update employee leave data and status in the tracking system
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements : Qualifications :
2 years of experience in leave of absence administration, benefits coordination, or human resources-related functions preferredAbility to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a teamCommitted to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environmentAbility to access and input information using a moderately complex computer systemSkilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft TeamsExperience with HRIS platforms such as Infinium, UKG, or Kronos preferredRequirements : Qualifications :
