Senior Manager, Procurement

Global Procurement is responsible for sourcing goods and services across Walmart's direct and indirect space. This role is focused specifically on Supplies and Packaging and spans end-to-end procurement; from collaborating with our business partners and developing requirements to negotiating with suppliers to deliver best in class supplier partnerships. Procurement is responsible for the selection of suppliers and their overall performance on behalf of the business teams we support.

What You'll Do

Want to use your Procurement Skills to leverage suppliers to bring the best value back to Walmart? The Senior Manager, Procurement, is a primary steward of our company; you'll engage with numerous suppliers while working alongside a forward-thinking team in supporting stakeholders throughout Walmart. This role will collaborate with internal stakeholders and private brand co-manufacturers to identify and implement packaging-related opportunities that deliver cost savings, leverage scale, and support Walmart's sustainability goals. Key focus areas include optimizing packaging specifications, conducting packaging bids, streamlining costs, and increasing the use of Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) content or more sustainable materials.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications :

Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications. Option 1 : Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, economics, technology, or related field and 5 years' experience in procurement strategy, contract management, analytics, or related field. Option 2 : 6 years' experience in procurement strategy, contract management, analytics, or related field and 2 years' experience leading cross-functional teams / projects.
