The Role
We are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager (bilingual is a plus!) to take ownership of all day-to-day operations across five critical areas : Production, Warehouse & Shipping / Receiving, Maintenance, Safety, and Quality . You’ll be leading strong team leads in each area and a dedicated group of production workers. Your job is to develop people, drive performance, and ensure discipline in process execution .
This role is about being present on the floor, understanding the machinery and workflow, holding people accountable, and driving continuous improvement across the plant.
Key Responsibilities
Overall Operations Management :
- Write and implement processes, checklists and standards for all operational activities
- Manage production / warehouse staff & schedules
- Organize and allocate labor for most efficient utilization
- Help facilitate proof of function for new products
- Identity and implement Improvements needed to make production more efficient, and increase output.
- Bring Lean manufacturing practices to the table throughout the entire building.
1. Production
Overall Management of Day-to-Day productionOversee the production floor & equipmentManage the work order process.Lead and coach the Production Lead and team of operators.Ensure production schedules align with shipping requirements.Monitor raw materials and prevent stockouts.Step into production work when needed — lead from the front.Validate and correct BOMs, paperwork, and work orders.Escalate or clarify unclear customer orders to guarantee accuracy and satisfaction.2. Warehouse, Shipping & Receiving
Manage and coach warehouse and shipping / receiving leads.Ensure efficient layout and flow of goods.Maintain a clean, organized, and well-structured warehouse.Oversee shipping accuracy and on-time delivery performance.Continuously improve order-to-shipment efficiency.3. Maintenance
Lead preventive maintenance program and ensure schedules are followed.Keep all production equipment running reliably; minimize downtime.Work with the Maintenance Lead to implement corrective actions quickly.Oversee new equipment installs, proof of function, and concept runs.4. Safety
Own the company’s safety program and OSHA compliance.Develop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and training.Conduct monthly safety meetings and incident reviews.Ensure all employees use correct PPE and safe practices daily.5. Quality
Enforce CGMP compliance and quality standards across all operations.Ensure corrective actions are documented, completed, and sustained.Work closely with the Quality & Compliance team to support continuous improvement.What You Bring
Demonstrated leadership in operations management, preferably in manufacturing.Hands-on leader who can build, coach, and hold teams accountable.Strong understanding of machinery and production processes.Experience with Lean practices and process discipline.Comfortable balancing strategic improvements with daily problem-solving.Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle many moving parts.Bilingual (English / Spanish) strongly preferred.Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).Personal Characteristics That Fit Forza
