Summary of Position
The Senior Data Analyst transforms clinical, financial, and operational data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across Circle the City. Leveraging expertise in database management, business-intelligence tools, automation, and healthcare analytics, the role manages the Enterprise Data Warehouse, builds dashboards, and provides fact-based analysis from AthenaHealth and other systems to support leadership, regulatory submissions, and grant reporting.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Data Management & Integration
- Design, optimize, and document data structures in Snowflake (or equivalent).
- Develop and maintain T-SQL procedures and secure EDI workflows (SSIS, HL7, SFTP).
- Reconcile data from disparate sources and troubleshoot anomalies.
2. Business Intelligence & Reporting
Build and enhance dashboards for leadership and teams.Create and maintain monthly KPI dashboards and ad-hoc reports.Produce monthly revenue and cumulative revenue analyses to support Finance month-end closeGenerate regular patient-encounter and patient-count reports; track patient bed-days for Respite locations.Provide annual regulatory datasets (UDS, AHCCCS Reconciliation, audits) and quarterly grant / funder reports (e.g., City of Tempe / Mesa)3. Automation & Process Optimization
Develop and manage RPA workflows to automate repetitive data tasks.Identify new automation opportunities across departments and lead implementation efforts.4. Analytics & Stakeholder Support
Serve as a liaison between IT, Finance, Operations, and Clinical teams to translate data requirements into solutions.Provide ad-hoc analytic support for leadership, funders, and audits; explain data anomalies, benchmark shifts, and insights to non-technical stakeholders.Act as a resource for extracting data from AthenaHealth and other databases.5. Compliance, Governance & Security
Uphold data governance, HIPAA, HiTrust, and Circle the City security standards.Maintain audit trails, access controls, and data-quality programsSalary Range for the position Sr. Data Analyst based upon experience.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer / data science, Healthcare Informatics, Finance, or related field; minimum 4 years in data analytics / BI-healthcare preferred. Equivalent professional experience may substitute for degree.Technical Skills
Advanced SQL / T-SQL; Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms; ETL tools (SSIS); BI tools; RPA (Power Automate or equivalent); strong Excel; experience with Athena Health / EHR systems.Analytical & Interpersonal Skills
